Radical gastrectomy (RG) of gastric cancer (GC) is a complicated surgical procedure associated with high morbidity, mortality, and recurrence rates.
1 Therefore, the development of sensitive preoperative predictive markers is warranted. Previous studies have confirmed that skeletal muscle measures are closely related to short- and long-term outcomes for tumor patients.
