Female urethral diverticula are uncommon, but are more frequent between the third and fifth decades of life [
1]. The incidence ranges from 0.6 to 6% of the female population [
2]. Most urethral diverticula are related to recurrent infections of the periurethral glands or urethral trauma [
2]. It occurs predominantly at the distal two thirds of the urethra and is usually diagnosed belatedly. It may present local complications such as urine infection, diverticular lithiasis, malignant degeneration [
