Angiogenesis, the development of new blood vessels, plays an important role in cancer formation and metastasis. Therefore, antiangiogenic therapy for cancer treatment was developed and has become very popular in recent years. Inhibiting new tumor vessel formation and blood supply by agents can have therapeutic effects on cancer.
