In a longitudinal study of 35 patients which evaluated use of biomarker urinary neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin (NGAL) in predicting cisplatin-Induced acute kidney injury, a patient¹ [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed stage 1 acute kidney injury during treatment with cisplatin 50 mg/m² for unspecified cancer. The patient's serum creatinine level did not return to base level within a month of acute kidney injury [route, duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. …
