A 33-year-old woman developed persistent genital arousal syndrome (PGAD) following withdrawal of clomipramine. ¹ The woman, who had obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and major depressive disorder started receiving treatment with clomipramine [route and dosage not stated]. She received clomipramine treatment for a while. She started experiencing PGAD symptoms following cessation of clomipramine treatment [time to reaction onset not stated]. Her PGAD improved with escitalopram treatment and did not relapse thereafter. …

The case was presented at 6th International Congress on Psychopharmacology, Antalya, Turkey in January 2014. The reporter country was not stated; unable to contact author. The publishing journal was contacted but no reply was received.
