In a single-centre retrospective study, five patients [ages and sexes not stated] were described, who developed dry mouth, sleep disorder, spasmophilia, withdrawal syndrome or headache during treatment with clonazepam for burning mouth syndrome [time to reactions onsets and outcomes not stated]. The patients with burning mouth syndrome received treatment with oral clonazepam [Rivotril] 10 drops at bedtime (1 drop=0.1mg). Subsequently, the patients developed dry mouth, sleep disorder, spasmophilia, withdrawal syndrome and headache (one patient each). …
