Zusammenfassung

Aufgabe der Bildgebung

Die Bildgebung nimmt eine entscheidende Rolle in der Diagnostik, Indikationsstellung und Prognose des akuten ischämischen Schlaganfalls ein.

Letzte Studienergebnisse

Anhand der Kombination aus bildgebenden und klinischen Informationen haben Studien zuletzt auch außerhalb der klassischen Zeitfenster die Sicherheit und Effektivität der Thrombolyse und endovaskulären Thrombektomie patientenindividuell beweisen können. Hier können in speziellen Fällen die Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT) und die Perfusionsbildgebung wichtige Zusatzinformationen liefern.

Diagnostischer Standard

Nichtsdestotrotz ist nach wie vor die Computertomographie (CT), nativ und mit Kontrastmittel, die verfügbarste und schnellste Methode, um Schlaganfälle zu diagnostizieren.
