Zusammenfassung

Die Inzidenz des Zervixkarzinoms ist weltweit unterschiedlich und schwankt zwischen 3,6 pro 100.000 Frauen jährlich in Finnland und 45 pro 100.000 in Kolumbien (Beckmann et al. 2008). Die Inzidenz des Zevixkarzinoms in Deutschland ist rückläufig: von 40 pro 100.000 Frauen im Jahr 1971 auf 14,1 pro 100.000 Frauen im Jahr 2004. Neben der Verbesserung des Gesundheitsbewusstseins hat die Vorsorge einen wesentlichen Anteil an dieser Entwicklung (Diakomanolis et al. 2002).

Laser- und Lichtbehandlungen können bei Frauen mit polyzystischem Ovarialsyndrom (PCOS) den übermäßigen Haarwuchs verringern und das Wohlbefinden verbessern – bei alleiniger Anwendung oder in Kombination mit Medikamenten.

ICI-Therapie in der Schwangerschaft wird gut toleriert

Müssen sich Schwangere einer Krebstherapie unterziehen, rufen Immuncheckpointinhibitoren offenbar nicht mehr unerwünschte Wirkungen hervor als andere Mittel gegen Krebs.

Weniger postpartale Depressionen nach Esketamin-Einmalgabe

Bislang gibt es kein Medikament zur Prävention von Wochenbettdepressionen. Das Injektionsanästhetikum Esketamin könnte womöglich diese Lücke füllen.
