In a case series of 3 patients, a 39-year-old woman was described, who developed irritation of the skin during treatment with dimethyl sulfoxide for amyloidosis cutis dyschromica. The woman, who had amyloidosis cutis dyschromica, started receiving treatment with unspecified corticosteroid and tretinoin creams, but it was not helpful. Therefore, she started using 50% dimethyl sulfoxide topically.
