Therapieoptionen beim primären Schnarchen

Zusammenfassung

Schnarchen kann eines der Symptome bei obstruktiver Schlafapnoe darstellen mit den daraus resultierenden möglichen kardiovaskulären Folgeerkrankungen. Es kann aber auch einfach nur ein lästiges und belastendes Atemgeräusch für den Bettpartner oder die Umgebung sein. Im letzteren Fall spricht man von primärem Schnarchen. Die dafür zur Verfügung stehenden Therapiemöglichkeiten sollen im Folgenden beschrieben werden.
