A 68-year-old man experienced fasciculations during treatment with donepezil for Parkinson's disease. The man, who was known to have Parkinson's disease complicated by dementia, started receiving donepezil 5 mg/day [route not stated]. However, within 3−4 days of initiating donepezil, he experienced a sudden onset of fasciculations of his leg and abdomen muscles. He had no prior history of neuropathy or fasciculations.
