Aortic annular rupture is one of the most disastrous complications in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) [
1]. Although originally described as immediate circulatory collapse following cardiac tamponade caused by rupture into the pericardial space, recent observational study with computed tomography after TAVR reported substantial population of annular rupture may be subclinical and slow progression. These patients with contained ruptures generally have favorable outcomes; however, some of them experiences subacute progression to tamponade, thus require quick recognition and careful monitoring [
