A male neonate developed plaque at the site of injection following administration of epinephrine.The neonate underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation including an intramuscular dose of epinephrine (0.02mg/kg, 1:10000) on the day of birth. Therapeutic hypothermia was started and lasted for 72 hours. Physical examination revealed a circumscribed, irregular, red violet, oedematous, plaque surrounded by an ischaemic line at the site of injection on the right thigh.
