A 7-year-old boy developed headaches during antifungal treatment with griseofulvin [dosage, time to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. The boy presented with a one-week history of pruritic rash, which first appeared on his back and continued to spread across his entire body. He was diagnosed with dermatophytid reaction to tinea capitis. He had started receiving treatment with oral griseofulvin (started three days earlier) and an unspecified oral antihistamine. However, he developed headaches due to the griseofulvin treatment. Therefore, his griseofulvin treatment was changed to terbinafine. …
