Heimüberwachung („home monitoring“) von Kindern und Jugendlichen: Vorschläge für die praktische Anwendung

Zusammenfassung

Umfangreiche ambulante Betreuungsstrukturen, immer leistungsfähigere Technik und nicht zuletzt das Bedürfnis von Eltern, auch chronisch kranke Kinder im häuslichen Milieu betreuen zu wollen, stellt an Heimüberwachungssysteme höhere Anforderungen.
Schwierigkeiten bereiten Indikationsstellung, Dauer der Anwendung sowie die Auswahl der jeweils benötigten Geräte.
Die vorliegende Leitlinie zur Heimüberwachung von Kindern und Jugendlichen wurde im Sinne von formal bewerteten („evidence level“) Aussagen der wissenschaftlichen Literatur entwickelt und in einem Konsensusverfahren beraten und verabschiedet (S2).
In einer zusammenfassenden Bewertung werden Empfehlungen gegeben, bei welchen Krankheitsbildern eine Monitoranwendung sinnvoll erscheint. Es wird Stellung bezogen zu den Fragen: welche Parameter sollten überwacht werden, Überwachungsdauer, technische Anforderungen an die Geräte und Begleitumstände der Heimüberwachung.
