Der Herpes zoster ist eine sehr häufige Erkrankung, die durch Reaktivierung des latent in sensorischen Spinal- und Hirnnervenganglien persistierenden Varizella-Zoster-Virus (VZV) verursacht wird. Er erfordert aufgrund akuter neuropathischer Schmerzen, postzosterischer Neuralgien und möglicher neurologischer Komplikationen durch Beteiligung des peripheren und des zentralen Nervensystems eine neurologische Mitbetreuung. …
