Zusammenfassung

Hormonale Kontrazeptiva dienen nicht nur der sicheren Verhütung, sondern auch der bewussten Planung des Zeitpunktes der Schwangerschaft. Bedingt durch die Vielzahl an Kombinationen von Östrogenen und Gestagenen und den unterschiedlichen Applikationsformen ist es immer besser möglich, den individuellen Bedürfnissen der Patientin bezüglich nichtkontrazeptivem Zusatznutzen zu entsprechen oder den individuellen Gesundheitsrisiken gerecht zu werden.
