Hypothermie in der Herzchirurgie

Zusammenfassung

Die seit Beginn der Herzchirurgie tragende Rolle der systemischen und topischen Hypothermie wird wegen vieler Nachteile und nichtsicheren Vorteilen zunehmend infrage gestellt. Mit modernen Perfusions-, Kardioprotektions- und operativen Techniken werden unter Normothermie vergleichbare Ergebnisse erreicht. Unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Kardio- und Neuroprotektion wird der heutige Stellenwert der Hypothermie bei herzchirurgischen Eingriffen diskutiert.
