In a retrospective analysis of 7 patients, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed persistent fatigue during treatment with interferon-α-2a for chronic cystoid macular oedema (CME). The patient was scheduled to receive SC interferon-α-2a 3 millionIU per day for approximately 4 weeks followed by stepwise tapering to the lowest possible dose.
