As shown in this issue of Abdominal Radiology, multiple studies have demonstrated the value of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) of the prostate to diagnose, stage, and help manage men with prostate cancer. It has also been recognized that variability in imaging acquisition and interpretation were discrediting mpMRI, an issue that has been to a great extent addressed by the Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS), version 2. …
