What a nice concept is realized in this book—the whole field of ophthalmology is covered by a comprehensive question–answer system. Fifty-six chapters written by 61 highly reputed experts in ophthalmology are based on important, “need-to-know” answers and questions in a unique format. It is enjoyable to read this book as it combines the increase of knowledge with a self-examination effect as well as the opportunity to jump into the text whenever desired. Each chapter features approximately 30–50 concisely presented questions and answers, including many black-and-white illustrations and a reasonable number of references for further reading. The index at the end of the book is satisfactorily detailed and clearly arranged. This book is a good example of how learning can be enjoyable and yet effective. Try it and convince yourself. …
