Primary supravesical hernias are uncommon and rarely encountered by general surgeons. Their regional anatomy and various subtypes have been well described in previous publications [

10]. The most common type is internal herniation into the anterior retropubic space of Retzius [

10]. Less than 75 reports of such cases have been published in the literature since the 1800s [

13]. We present a case of small bowel obstruction in a “virgin” abdomen caused by an internal supravesical hernia. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a totally minimally invasive approach to the management of this rare problem. …
