Zusammenfassung

Der routinemäßige Einsatz von bildgebender Diagnostik zur Beurteilung des Abdomens hat in den letzten Jahren zu einer vermehrten Detektion von inzidentellen Lebertumoren geführt.
Die Patientenanamnese kann bei der umfangreichen Differenzialdiagnostik fokaler Leberläsionen richtungsweisend sein.
Lebertumoren können von Hepatozyten, Gallengangsepithelien oder Mesenchymzellen abstammen (Tab. 36.1) oder Metastasen extrahepatischer Tumoren darstellen.
Lebertumoren < 1 cm in einer ansonsten gesunden Leber sind in der Regel benigner Natur.
In diesem Kapitel werden im Wesentlichen die Lebertumoren des Erwachsenenalters ausführlicher beschrieben.
