A 21-year-old man experienced weight loss during treatment with levetiracetam. ¹ He had a history of primary idiopathic cervical dystonia and received therapy with levetiracetam at a dosage of 500 mg/day [route not stated]. He subsequently lost 8kg in 2 month [time to reaction onset not stated]. He continued to receive levetiracetam because the body weight trend tended to follow a plateau in the course of long term therapy, and his complaints reduced. …
