Die Highlights vom Kongress des American College of Cardiology 2024

Im April diskutierten die Herz-Kreislauf-Spezialisten aus der ganzen Welt auf dem  Kongress des American College of Cardiology (ACC) u.a. neue Therapieansätze bei akutem Myokardinfarkt, koronarer Herzerkrankung, kardiogenem Schock oder Aortenklappenstenose. Frakturen der lateralen Klavikula und des Akromions

Zusammenfassung

Frakturen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zum akromioklavikularen (AC-)Gelenk sind selten und stellen eine eigene Entität dar. Insbesondere Frakturen der lateralen Klavikula weisen eine überdurchschnittlich hohe Rate an Pseudarthrosen unter konservativer Therapie auf. Therapeutisches Ziel ist in jedem Fall eine gute Schulterfunktion, die durch Frakturkonsolidierung unter Vermeidung von signifikanten Fehlstellungen erreicht werden kann. Instabile Frakturen müssen dazu als solche erkannt werden und mit einem geeigneten Verfahren osteosynthetisch versorgt werden. Neben den Platten- und Kirschner-Drahtosteosynthesen werden zunehmend auch arthroskopische Verfahren mit einer Reaproximierung der Frakturenden eingesetzt. Frakturen des Akromions werden überwiegend mit der Plattenosteosynthese versorgt.
