We read with great interest the article by Yalcin et al. [
1], which focused on the ultrasound reference values of ulnar nerve cross-sectional areas (CSA) at common areas of nerve entrapment, as well as on differences related to age, sex, weight, height and dominant arm. The authors succeeded, in our opinion, in highlighting some important aspects of the ultrasonography of the peripheral nerves, depicting especially, that females have statistically smaller nerves than males and that there is a significant correlation with height and weight at most of the levels.
