A burning body, lying across the railway line in a tunnel of a suburban train station, was noticed by railway workers early in the morning before the railway traffic had started that day. The man was declared dead by an emergency doctor after the fire had been extinguished by the fire brigade. At the death scene, police investigators noted two large wounds on the anterior upper part of the body. For clarification of the cause of death and reconstruction of the events at the death scene, a medico-legal autopsy was ordered. …
