Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are a group of chronic inflammatory disorders affecting the gut and are phenotypically classified as Crohn’s disease (CD) and Ulcerative colitis (UC). They can occur at any age though incidence peaks in the late teens and early 20s. The incidence of IBD is increasing overall worldwide and in children as a subgroup [
