Minimally invasive thyroid treatments (MITT) have been increasingly used in the treatment of patients affected by benign thyroid nodules and thyroid malignancies [
1]. According to a recently published European Thyroid Association and Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe 2021 Clinical Practice Guideline [
