I read with great interest the article “Restless legs syndrome affecting the head region: ‘restless head syndrome’ by Balgetir et al. [
1].” I congratulate them for their wonderful observation. The authors write “We propose that the novel RLS variant described in the present study could be termed ‘restless head syndrome.’” However, it was unfortunate that the authors did not cite our observation in this regard. It was our team who had used this term in the literature for the first time. We published an article in 2020 with the title “Dopa responsive headache: Restless head syndrome or a cephalic variant of restless legs syndrome?” [
2] The title of this article suggests that we have used this term for the first time. Our article was published well before the Balgetir et al. (published in 2022) [
1]. The authors should give credit to our article. …
