Zusammenfassung

Der Dopamin-D₂- und -D₃-Rezeptor-Partialagonist Cariprazin ist im Juli 2017 von der EMA zur Therapie der Schizophrenie zugelassen worden. Die Markteinführung hierzulande ist vor kurzem erfolgt. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die neue Substanz und ihre potenzielle Rolle in der Behandlung der Schizophrenie.
