Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways and one of the most common respiratory morbidity in children. The current standard of treatments in children are inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) as maintenance and short acting bronchodilator (SABA) as a reliever therapy. The level of asthma control depends upon several factors viz. adherence to therapy, inhalation technique and presence of comorbidities. There are emerging evidences in role of nutrients in asthma control viz. vitamin D and asthma control. Other nutrients like antioxidant, magnesium (Mg) are also known to have a role in asthma control in children [
