Solid pseudopapillary neoplasms (SPNs) of the pancreas are rare tumor with low malignant potential. It accounts for only 1–2% of all exocrine pancreatic tumor and 2–5% of all cystic neoplasm of pancreas [1]. It has been increasingly detected in recent years because of the wide use of advanced abdominal imaging technology and increased familiarity with these neoplasms by the surgeons and pathologists [2]. It usually occurs in female in second or third decades of life. Rarely, they can be seen in pediatric age-group, male, or after 50s [3, 4]. Here we report our experience of four such peculiar cases of SPN managed at community-based teaching hospital from the Eastern Nepal over the past 4 years. …

Seit November 2023 gibt es evidenzbasierte Empfehlungen zum perioperativen Management bei gastrointestinalen Tumoren (POMGAT) auf S3-Niveau. Vieles wird schon entsprechend der Empfehlungen durchgeführt. Wo es im Alltag noch hapert, zeigt eine Umfrage in einem Klinikverbund.
