Zusammenfassung

Die Sonographie ist entscheidender Bestandteil in der rheumatologischen Diagnostik geworden und mittlerweile im klinischen Alltag unverzichtbar. In den letzten Jahren haben sich sowohl im Bereich der Gerätetechnik als auch in der Untersuchungsmethodik neue Entwicklungen ergeben. In diesem Übersichtsbeitrag werden die für den rheumatologisch Tätigen relevanten Neuerungen vorgestellt und kritisch bewertet.
