A 63-year-old man with metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma started receiving sorafenib 400mg twice daily [route of administration not stated] and developed diarrhoea, but no other adverse effects [duration of therapy to reaction onset not stated]. He subsequently underwent radiotherapy on a renal hilar lymphadenopathy. Chemotherapy was discontinued during radiotherapy. As his alpha-fetoprotein level had returned to normal and because of the diarrhoea he experienced during chemotherapy, it was decided not to reinitiate sorafenib.
