Herpes zoster ophthalmicus (HZO) is a type of varicella zoster virus (VZV) manifestations that involves ophthalmic division of trigeminal nerve. Superior orbital fissure (SOF) syndrome which present with involvement of third to sixth cranial nerves and orbital apex syndrome that involves optic nerve additionally are rare complications of HZO, but may cause severe visual compromise. …
