Zusammenfassung

Der Goldstandard in der Therapie des hormonsensitiven metastasierten Prostatakarzinoms ist weiterhin die Androgenablation auf Kastrationsniveau (Testosteron < 50 ng/dl). Trotz dessen kommt es in der Regel nach 1,5–2 Jahren zum Progress der Erkrankung mit Ausbildung eines kastrationsresistenten metastasierten Prostatakarzinoms (mCRPC). Auch ein Drittel der Patienten mit lokalisierter Tumorerkrankung entwickelt, trotz zumeist schon begleitender Androgendeprivationstherapie (ADT), einen Progress der Erkrankung, welche bei fehlendem Nachweis von Metastasen als nicht-metastasierendes kastrationsresistentes Stadium (nmCRPC) beschrieben wird.
