A prospective, observational study identified one man who developed severe libido loss and one woman [ages not stated] who developed severe mood disturbances while receiving tamoxifen monotherapy for idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis. The patients were scheduled to receive tamoxifen 20mg twice daily for 2 years [route and duration of therapy before reaction onsets not stated]. The man experienced severe loss of libido, and the woman experienced severe mood disturbances. The tamoxifen dose was reduced to 20mg once daily in both patients [outcomes not stated]. …
