In a case series, 2 men aged 24-45 years were identified who developed an elevated liver enzymes and thrombocytopenia while receiving off-label tocilizumab. The men were started on off label IV tocilizumab 8 mg/kg every 4 weeks for amyloidosis secondary to familial mediterranean fever (FMF) [unapproved indication]. They received 4-9 cycles of tocilizumab. They developed elevated liver enzymes and mild thrombocytopenia that did not necessitate a dose adjustment or cessation of therapy [durations of treatments to reaction onset and outcomes not stated]. …
