33. Ultraschall des Beckenbodens

Zusammenfassung

Die diagnostische Beurteilung von Patientinnen mit urogynäkologischen Symptomen, d. h. Inkontinenz- und Prolapsbeschwerden, war bis vor kurzem weitgehend auf die klinische Untersuchung beschränkt. Zwar erlaubt die Urodynamik einen Einblick in die Funktion von Harnblase und Urethra, doch die anatomischen Normabweichungen, die oft solcher Funktionsstörung zugrunde liegen, waren weitgehend unzugänglich. Aufgrund von Fortschritten bei der Anwendung von bildgebenden Verfahren hat sich dies nun grundsätzlich geändert – insbesondere durch die Einführung des 3D/4D-Ultraschalls. Der Ultraschall des Beckenbodens ist auf dem besten Wege, sich zur diagnostischen Standardmethode in der Urogynäkologie zu entwickeln.

Laser- und Lichtbehandlungen können bei Frauen mit polyzystischem Ovarialsyndrom (PCOS) den übermäßigen Haarwuchs verringern und das Wohlbefinden verbessern – bei alleiniger Anwendung oder in Kombination mit Medikamenten.

ICI-Therapie in der Schwangerschaft wird gut toleriert

Müssen sich Schwangere einer Krebstherapie unterziehen, rufen Immuncheckpointinhibitoren offenbar nicht mehr unerwünschte Wirkungen hervor als andere Mittel gegen Krebs.

Weniger postpartale Depressionen nach Esketamin-Einmalgabe

Bislang gibt es kein Medikament zur Prävention von Wochenbettdepressionen. Das Injektionsanästhetikum Esketamin könnte womöglich diese Lücke füllen.
