Zusammenfassung

Der Nutzen oraler Antikoagulantien bei Vorhofflimmern ist unbestritten. Allerdings ist die Zahl der Hirnblutungen unter einer Antikoagulation deutlich gestiegen. Das schafft ein therapeutisches Dilemma, für das dieser Beitrag Handlungsoptionen herauszuarbeiten versucht.
