Abstract
A 5-years-old Iranian cross-breed cattle with a history of anorexia, weakness, dyspnea and weight loss was referred to the Veterinary Clinic of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. Clinical signs were included jugular distention, brisket and submandibular edema, slight fever and high heart and respiratory rates. Three hours after hospitalization the animal was died. A huge mass was seen in atriums and ventricles of the heart, which adhered to endocardium when the animal was necropsied. Histopathologic examination confirmed the presence of granulation tissue, which could be attributed to vegetative endocarditis.
