A 16-year-old child was being followed in another center with a diagnosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD) due to unknown etiology from the age of 11 years old for 2 years. He was referred to our hospital at the age of 13. His past medical history revealed that he was in relatively good health until 11 years old, when he began renal replacement treatment with peritoneal dialysis for 2 years.
