Zusammenfassung

Die Veränderung pathogenetisch bedeutsamer Beziehungsmuster gilt als wesentliches psychotherapeutisches Behandlungsziel. Um zielgerichtete Veränderungen von Beziehungsstrukturen zu erreichen, bedarf es sowohl einer Diagnostik und Beschreibung solcher Beziehungsmuster, einer darauf zielenden Behandlungstechnik als auch einer Verlaufskontrolle und Evaluation der angestrebten Veränderungen. Nach einem Überblick über verschiedene Methoden zur Erfassung von Beziehungsmustern wird die Methode des Zentralen-Beziehungskonflikt-Themas (ZBKT) von Luborsky näher beschrieben; ausgewählte Ergebnisse der ZBKT-Forschung werden dargestellt und die Methode kritisch bewertet.

Fokaltherapie „Der Student“—die hier zitierten Textstellen unterliegen den für die Ulmer Textbank festgelegten Bestimmungen (Ulmer Textbank 1989).

Die Grenzen der Methode bilden die Narrative—bei Sprachzerfall z. B. im Rahmen psychotischer Störungen ist die Methode nur eingeschränkt anwendbar (s. Stief 1991).

Interessant ist, dass sowohl in klinischen wie auch nichtklinischen Stichproben (z. B. Zollner 1998) dieses Muster als häufigstes Muster genannt wird; hierbei ist die Pervasiveness (Anzahl der Episoden mit diesem Muster bezogen auf alle Episoden nach Crits-Christoph u. Luborsky 1990) dieses Musters bei PatientInnen höher. Wahrscheinlich leiden Menschen, die psychotherapeutische Behandlung suchen, unter diesem Muster stärker. Möglicherweise ist die Präsentation dieses Musters in Therapiegesprächen aber auch eine Art „Eintrittskarte“ für eine Psychotherapie.

Verglichen mit anderen Methoden (z. B. FRAMES-Methode) ist die Methode zeitintensiver [Transkription, umfangreiches Beurteilertraining, detaillierte Inhaltsanalyse des Textes (8–10 h für ein Interview, je nach Anzahl der Beziehungsepisoden), Reliabilitätsuntersuchungen]. Unter Anwendung der beschriebenen reformulierten kategorialen Strukturen der Methode ist die Auswertung erheblich zeitökonomischer.
