Chylothorax nach Anlage eines zentralvenösen Katheters

Zusammenfassung

Die Autoren berichten über einen Chylothorax: eine seltene, wenngleich auch klassische Komplikation nach Anlage eines zentralen Venenkatheters (ZVK) über die linke V. jugularis interna. Die Anatomie des Lymphgefäßsystems wird einschließlich Varianten dargestellt, wie auch die Mechanismen, über die ein ZVK-assoziierter Chylothorax entsteht. Pathophysiologie, Klinik und Differentialdiagnose unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Triglyzeridgehaltes werden ebenso erläutert wie die Therapieoptionen.
