A 45-year-old man with lung cancer was hospitalised with an tracheoesophageal fistula. After initiation of radiotherapy, he began receiving cisplatin and docetaxel [dosages and routes not stated] but developed febrile neutropenia [duration of treatments to reaction onset not stated]. Chemotherapy had to be discontinued, and he required treatment with granulocyte colony stimulating factors and antibiotics for several days [outcome not stated]. The tracheoesophageal fistula subsequently improved. …
