A 44-year-old man, who had a history of cataract surgery and glaucoma, received topical 0.1% tacrolimus ointment twice daily, to his eyelids, for psoriasiform blepharitis [amount not stated]; eye irritation ensued following direct contact of tacrolimus to the eyes [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. Tacrolimus was withdrawn [outcome not clearly stated], yet later successfully readministered with more precise application away from the eyelid margin. …
