A 78-year-old man was diagnosed with large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung with cerebral metastasis (cT2bN2M1b Stage IV) and underwent craniotomy. On postoperative day 19, he started receiving four courses of split-dose chemotherapy with irinotecan 60 mg/m2 and cistplatin 30 mg/m2 on days 1 and 8, followed by a 2-week rest [routes of administration not stated]. He experienced grade 1 diarrhoea, which resolved quickly with symptomatic therapy [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. …
