Die In-vitro-Maturation in Deutschland

Zusammenfassung

Die In-vitro-Maturation (IVM) ist ein Verfahren der assistierten Reproduktion, bei dem nach niedrig dosierter Kurzzeitstimulation mit dem follikelstimulierenden Hormon die Oozyten unreif gewonnen werden. Nach Maturation über meist 24 h schließt sich die In-vitro-Fertilisation an. Die IVM ist in erster Linie bei Patientinnen mit einem erhöhten Risiko für ein ovarielles Überstimulationssyndrom und bei Vorliegen eines polyzystischen Ovarsyndroms indiziert. Die Schwangerschaftsraten sind durchschnittlich niedriger als nach der konventionellen In-vitro-Fertilisation oder intrazytoplasmatischen Spermieninjektion. Das theoretisch erhöhte Risiko für ein Auftreten von Syndromen, die durch Imprintingdefekte verursacht werden, wurde – in Studien mit kleinen Fallzahlen – bislang nicht belegt. Eine sorgfältige Nachbeobachtung der nach IVM geborenen Kinder in einem Follow-up-Programm ist notwendig.
