Chirurgische Anatomie der Kieferhöhle

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Fortschritte in der endoskopischen endonasalen Mikrochirurgie der Nasennebenhöhlen fußen schwergewichtig auf einem stetig steigenden Wissensstand im Bereich der örtlichen Mikroanatomie mit ihren individuellen Varianten.

Material und Methode

Es wird ein Überblick gegeben über wissenschaftliche Mitteilungen der Literatur zur Mikroanatomie der Kieferhöhle aus Sicht der endoskopischen endonasalen Chirurgie.

Ergebnisse

Dargestellt wird die Variationsbreite der individuellen Mikroanatomie aller Kieferhöhlen-Abschnitte insbesondere zur Minimierung des sekundären chirurgischen Gewebetraumas, zur Vermeidung von Komplikationen (z. B. Verletzung orbitaler Strukturen) und als Grundlage des prälakrimalen Kieferhöhlenzuganges.

Schlussfolgerung

Die intensivierte Beachtung der Mikroanatomie der Nasennebenhöhlen mit ihren Varianten verringert die Belastung für den Patienten bei einer optimierten Effektivität der nötigen chirurgischen Manipulationen.
